Just had my first hike with Exit Glacier Guides.  I took a single up into 'the Bowl'....one of my favorite hikes.  It climbs directly above town and within minutes you're consorting with the goats.   With a babbling stream running through rock strewn alpine tundra,  it truly is a Shangri-la.  We came up over a rise looking down into the Jap Glacier  canyon when suddenly a ptarmigan...still in white...popped up beside us.  Fantastic experience.  I can't wait to get up there again.
